Violet Voss Holy Grail Review

Hi beauties,

I know it's been a long time since I haven't post anything, but many things came through my way, and I kind of lost a bit of interest. As a mum there's so much important things for me than blogging.. I love blogging but I do prefer going out with my family, playing with my kids or even cuddling and watching a movie with my husband to be, those things are far more important to me!

I’m finally reviewing the Violet Voss Holy Grail Eyeshadow palette! I ordered this baby off Beauty Bay about a month ago when it was in stock for a minute, and I’m so happy I was able to get my hands on it! It was always out of stock, been waiting for so long since last year! Overall, I love this palette, just not for everyday use, but for every occasions. It’s dramatic, deep, bold and full of warm toned colours  which is what I am 100% about. So, here are my thoughts on the palette and I hope you enjoy this review!

The packaging on this palette has a velvety touch, but it’s made out of cardboard. Since it’s made of this soft cardboard, finger prints do leave a bit of a smear on the palette if you reach for it when you still have foundation on your hands, which is annoying, but you can always give it a clean afterwards. Has shimmer and matte colours, has light, warm and dark eyeshadows, amazing when going traveling. With this palette you won't need any others with you.

Speaking of travelling, it comes with a huge mirror that has amazing quality! I love that it’s large enough so you can see your whole face in it, however it doesn’t stand up on it’s own, so if you want to use the mirror here to do your makeup you have to hold the mirror up with one hand, or lean it against something. I don’t use the mirrors I get in my palettes so it’s not an issue of me, but it’s something to consider if you use it.

I’m in love with the inside packaging and how the shades are! I love that the shade names are written in a proper and smooth cardboard, it doesn’t have that velvety texture. This different cardboard means it’s super easy to clean around the edges of the shades, which is a must really!

Overall, the shimmer shades in this palette are incredibly beautifulThey’re absolutely stunning. I have read that Violet Voss is known for their amazing loose glitters. There are some shimmers in here which are so intense they’re basically metallic. The mattes in this palette are also gorgeous. The shades in this palette are incredibly soft to touch and easy to blend. So, I highly recommend this palette!

I bought this palette off Beauty Bay for £43. Beauty Bay’s prices change daily, but not by an insane amount. I think what I paid for this palette is entirely worth it.

So those are my thoughts on the Violet Voss Holy Grail Eyeshadow palette! I hope you found this helpful.
